Identity Lifecycle Management

We are a group of volunteers with the common objective to develop a highly comprehensive generic model of the processes of the Identity- & Access Management (IAM). 

This model is meant to serve as a template for enterprise specific processes. In some cases it should be possible to implement and use it unchanged. 

We represent small, medium sized or large enterprises; we are management consultants, analysts; we are from vendors, system integrators or academic institutions.

It is our intention to contribute to the evolution of the whole discipline of the identity- and access management by our initiative GenericIAM. We are convinced that each individual who contributes to it will benefit from it in turn.

Since our start triggered by a call of the European analysts group Kuppinger, Cole + Partner in spring 2006, we meet quarterly – but at most times operate as a virtual group via electronic communication.

Der LIVE Linux-Verband e.V. ist der Branchenverband der im Umfeld von Freier Software und Linux aktiven Firmen. Zentrales Ziel des LIVE ist es, den professionellen Einsatz von Linux und anderer Freier Software zu fördern. Er vertritt die Interessen der in diesem Umfeld aktiven Unternehmen und repräsentiert die kommerzielle Komponente der Entwicklergemeinschaft Freier Software in Deutschland.

Der Linux-Verband fördert die Kommunikation und den Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen seinen Mitgliedern. Er dient Interessenten aus Politik, Verwaltung, Öffentlichkeit und Wirtschaft als neutraler Ansprechpartner und vertritt aktiv die branchenspezifischen Interessen seiner Mitglieder gegenüber Politik und Verbänden. Innerhalb des LIVE wird an der weiteren Verbreitung von Linux und Freier Software gearbeitet und an der Standardisierung in Bereichen wie dem Desktop-Einsatz von GNU/Linux gearbeitet.

Der Unternehmerverein networker NRW e.V. wurde im Juli 2004 von den Vereinen networker westfalen e.V. (vormals mybird.de e.V.) und ruhr networker e.V. gegründet. Mit mehr als 300 Unternehmen sind wir der größte IT-Verband in NRW und zählen mittlerweile zu den drei größten IT-Verbänden dieser Art in Deutschland.

Zu unseren Aufgaben zählen vor allem die nachhaltige Förderung und Stärkung der Wirtschafts- und Wissenschaftsentwicklung im Bereich der Informations- und Kommunikationswirtschaft in Nordrhein-Westfalen, startend im Ruhrgebiet und die Bündelung der Leistungsfähigkeit und Förderung gemeinschaftlicher Projekte.

Für unsere Mitglieder sind wir ein Forum des Erfahrungs- und Informationsaustausches. Gleichzeitig repräsentieren wir in der Öffentlichkeit die Leistungsstärke der IT-Unternehmen in NRW und vertreten die Mitglieder gegenüber den Kommunen und dem Land NRW.

Die Nationale Initiative für Internet-Sicherheit (NIFIS e.V.) ist die Selbsthilfeorganisation der Wirtschaft, um Unter­nehmen im Kampf gegen die wachsenden Gefahren aus dem Internet technisch, organisatorisch und rechtlich zu stärken. Ziel ist, die Vertraulichkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Integrität von Daten in digitalen Netzwerken zu fördern und sicherzustellen. Zur Erfüllung dieser Aufgabe wird NIFIS Konzepte für den Schutz vor Angriffen aus dem Datennetz entwickeln, in pragmatische Lösungen umsetzen und der Wirtschaft zur Verfügung stellen. Die NIFIS wurde von den Unternehmen KPMG, Compuware, Interxion, Clara.net, Controlware, IT Advisory Group, IT-Kanzlei dr-lapp.de, CERTCOM und der Unternehmungsberatung Dripke gegründet.

Die COMPUTER ZEITUNG berichtet Woche für Woche branchen übergreifend über IT-Themen und bereitet diese für IT-Meinungsbildner im deutschsprachigen Raum auf.
