Andreas is the Partner responsible for Deloitte’s risk-related services for financial institutions in Germany. He has conducted a variety of engagements involving the review, design and implementation of information security, governance, risk management and internal control frameworks. Andreas covers the business and the IT perspectives.

With an educational background in Theoretical Physics, Andreas brings twenty years’ experience in the technology risk area. Prior to joining Deloitte, he was at a global management and technology consultancy for 8 years, where he held the position of the Head of the Security Practice. Prior to this, he worked as project manager at a DAX30 technology company.

Andreas holds many certifications that combine different knowledge areas and broaden his vision on cyber security. Andreas is a CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of the Enterprise IT), and a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
