Identity Management in the Automotive Industry


For the past six years, Volkswagen have been working toward consolidating all previous attempts of user management systems in an effort to reduce costs, heighten security and meet compliance regulations. A layerd approach of Identity management will be püresented. With 600,000 users, and over 1.5 million accounts, the technology challenges have been surpassed by those of people, processes and integration. I will present the lessons learnt from under-estimating the efforts required and best practices for how to get it right.
