Paul Heiden
Founder & CEO
BHOLD COMPANY BV
Paul Heiden (1967) is BHOLD Company’s founder and CEO. Paul started his career as an officer of the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps specialized in mountain and arctic warfare. Having obtained a master degree in Dutch and Roman law, Paul became legal counsel at KPN, the Dutch Telecommunications company. When KPN went public, he frequently encountered the problem of controlling access to confidential M&A information. In this period he developed the ideas and models that would become the stepping stone for BHOLD Company in 1997. Ever since, Paul has worked to maintain a strict focus in BHOLD Company on authorization management from a business perspective. With this vision BHOLD Company gradually developed a leading position as vendor of business applications for authorization management and as a trusted provider of a unique expertise in implementing role based access control. Today BHOLD Company enables large organizations not only to manage and control access to information, but above all BHOLD enables management to deploy the use of ever more valuable information assets in order to meet its business goals.
