Dr. Johannes Wiele works as Director Business Consulting for Defense AG in Germany. Before joining this company, he worked as a journalist specialised on IT security topics and acted as a speaker and moderator at international and German IT security conferences.

Johannes Wiele also acts as a part time teacher in the areas of psychology of information security and social engineering countermeasures at the University of Munich and as a an associate lecturer at Karlshochschule International University, Karlsruhe, responsible for lessons on evolutionary systems as a module of the leadership master course. Johannes Wiele takes the role of a chairman of the EICAR Information Security Awareness Task Force and is a member of the ENISA Information Security Awareness Community.
