Paul Walker is a subject matter expert on identity and access management having over 15 years industry experience working in security. Paul has practical experience covering a wide range of security disciplines and today briefs customers as they strive for efficiency, increased security and compliance.
Being acquired into Sun Microsystems from a successful security startup in the late 90s Paul then held a management role within Sun engineering prior to performing global technical pre-sales and partner/sales driven enablement around the Sun Identity Management product stack. This was a growth time in the IDM market and Sun quickly became leaders in various key IDM markets.
Following on from the Sun Microsystems acquisitions by Oracle Corp, Paul worked in a key product management role for Oracle Identity and Access Management including advising Sun customers on their next steps.
Paul joined the Quest Software European Identity and Access Management specialist team in early 2011 and today helps Quest Software (now a part of Dell) advise customers and partners on how to address their Identity and Access Management needs with the Quest One Identity solutions portfolio.
