It is now becoming a strategic requirement for most enterprise infrastructures and adoption continues in multiple industries. Organizations investing in federation are still seen as early adopters. Because the field is still developing, the challenges as well as the potential benefits can be significant. This workshop is designed to provide insight into the results of early implementations. It will look at the standards today along with discussions on what the future holds. In diesem Workshop werden Rüdiger Berndt von OCG und Thomas Pind von Omada die rollenbasierte zentrale Identity & Access Management Architektur auf der Basis von Microsoft Systemen präsentieren. Dabei wird auch an Hand einer Demo Umgebung die einzelnen Module vorgestellt und mögliche Anwendungsfälle und Architekturvarianten besprochen.
Die Teilnehmer des Workshops können auf der Grundlage der Projekterfahrungen der Firmen OCG und OMADA im Bereich Identity Management den Scope für eigen Projekte in diesem Umfeld grob planen und damit die Aufwände und Kosten selbst abschätzen..
Der Workshop ist für Manager und Architekten im Bereich der Benutzerverwaltung ausgelegt. Bei Bedarf können aber auch sehr technische Einzelheiten angesprochen werden.
