Beyond Compliance: Policy Management as a Business Enabler

Regulatory compliance has increased the focus on Identity and Security Management, particularly in the area of preventive controls. What is sometimes lost in the shuffle is that compliance is one aspect of GRC, and that companies are driven primarily by growth and profit. Policy management has an important role to play not only in compliance, but also in supporting the business agility necessary to realize corporate goals; to fulfill this role, policy must be available and manageable pervasively and transparently throughout organizational processes. This presentation describes the current landscape and a path forward.
