After completing his electrical engineering studies, including his Doctorate from Hanover University, Dr. Uwe Vehlies worked for a consulting company, focussed on SAP solutions. Thereafter, he was a long-standing employee at IBM and was, for example, responsible for Second-Level-Support in the SAP sphere for various Outsourcing customers. Since the middle of 2006 he has been active as senior IT coordinator for Hannover Rückversicherung AG, with particular responsibility for Identity management and SAP CCC.
